Kylie Jenner can credit her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, with introducing her to the New York Knicks.
“I never was into it unless it was, like, someone was married or dating someone and then I would watch it,” Jenner, 29, said on the Wednesday, August 26, episode of the “Better Half” podcast, addressing her newfound basketball fandom. “It wasn’t until I went to my first Knicks game that I fell in love.”
Jenner and Chalamet, 30, have been dating since 2023, during which the Kardashians star began frequently attending Knicks games — sitting courtside, of course — with the Oscar nominee. (New York native Chalamet is among one of the biggest celebrity fans of the local NBA team.)
“There’s something about the energy in the stadium and [in Madison Square Garden] and being there,” Jenner gushed of attending multiple Knicks home games. “It was so much fun, and then I followed them for those two seasons.”

Jenner even joined Chalamet throughout the 2026 NBA Finals, in which the Knicks ultimately defeated the San Antonio Spurs for the championship trophy.
“For them to win, I mean, I’m the luckiest Knicks fan ‘cause I feel like I am a new Knicks fan … and I got to see them win!” she gushed, also revealing her frequent intentions to sartorially support the team. “I have a whole section in my archive closet of just orange and blue things. I have all the old Chanel, like, all every orange and blue thing that they’ve done.”
Jenner added, “I have custom things. … I just keep making things, and I’ll just save it in my closet.”
While Jenner’s Knicks-themed gear ranges from designer threads in coordinating colors to vintage team merch, comfort is paramount.

“I always want to wear a tank top,” she quipped on Wednesday’s episode. “I just saw an old photo of [myself] the year before this, and I feel like my outfits were a little cuter. It’s fine. I just feel, like, maybe I put on a little more effort. A lot of the games were, like, more [focused on] comfort.”
According to Jenner, prioritizing cozy looks by oversized Knicks gear helped ensure that she wouldn’t feel “naked” in public.
“When you have a big, fat, juicy ass and you’re sitting down and you’re wearing a little crop top, it’s just, like, my ass crack is always just [out],” she explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh my God, my ass is just always out.’ I always have to bring a jacket or something so I can enjoy the game and not worry if, you know, I’m naked.”
